Michelle Kropp, founder and Clinical Director of MK Psychology

“Authentic therapeutic relationships are critical to clients feeling safe and supported.”

— Michelle Kropp, Founder

Our story

Three decades of helping people heal

MK Psychology was founded by Michelle Kropp on a simple belief: that real change happens inside a safe, genuine relationship.

With over 30 years across education, mental health, and social work, Michelle has built a practice — and a team — known for meeting people with warmth and skill. She’s a Gottman Certified Therapist working toward her CCC Supervisor designation, a certified S.A.F.E. assessor for foster and adoptive families, and the founder of the Hearts & Hooves animal-assisted therapy program.

Today, five registered clinicians offer in-person care in Sherwood Park and secure online sessions across Canada — so the right support is always within reach.
